Jersey is the most southerly of the
Channel Islands. Located some 100 miles south of mainland Britain
and only 14 miles from the coast of France, Jersey provides the
visitor with a peaceful yet entertaining holiday destination. Jersey
is only nine miles by five and yet offers a wide variety of activities
from walking and watersports to museums and galleries.
With an area of forty-five square miles, a population of just 85,000
and some 450 miles of roadway you will be amazed at the scenery
that Jersey has to offer. The island also has a network of over
46 miles of Green Lanes with a speed limit of 15 mph and priority
given to walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
